Sunday night, in front of a multitude of screaming and cheering fans, Aly & AJ rocked out the Sweetest Place on Earth, Hershey Park! Unfortunately, Shannon and I couldn’t spend the day at the park. We arrived late, missing Bianca Ryan (the first of 4 acts). Drake Bell, of Nickelodeon fame, played as we entered the Star Pavilion. We hung out for awhile, trying to spot Aly & AJ and just taking in the event. It was more a musical fest, with 3 opening acts before Aly & AJ. And once these acts were finished, they would come off stage and sign their respective CD for their fans. We contemplated meeting Corbin Bleu from High School Musical and High School Musical 2, but we didn’t want to chance missing a moment of Aly & AJ perform!!! We did make certain to watch Corbin’s performance, as Shannon likes him. He is quite the electric dancer on stage.
It was great night for an outdoor concert. The weather was cool even while the sun was out. I found it interesting to see the full moon off in the distance as Aly & AJ sang on stage. If you look at the picture in this post (which is their album art), it has a full moon! Hm.
Shannon and I agreed that the intimate setting of the Orlando House of Blues made for a better Aly & AJ concert. We were much closer. The music was much louder. And we could dance and sign along much better. Not too many people stood in our area - that is until the end when Aly & AJ cheered on their fans to stand up…sing…and dance. Best of all was being able to move up to the 4th row for their last two songs! Not sure why people started to file out early. Because the concert ROCKED!!! Immediately, upon the concert ending, Shannon asked when we could see them perform again.
Unfortunately, like the summer, the Aly & AJ tour is coming to an end. So who knows when we’ll see them perform again. They do seem to stay busy and tour often so hopefully we’ll see them very soon!! We’ve already decided that we’d travel to Orlando, should they perform at the House of Blues again. Especially since we could tie in a trip to WDW!
Oh, and I later found out that Aly & AJ had a meet and greet earlier in the day!! Oh, well. One day we will meet them! I just want the opportunity to tell them how much Shannon and I enjoy their music…and that they ROCK!!! ![]()

Shannon, thanks for hooking me up with these two. I didn’t even realize who sang the breakup song and I had already liked it. No wonder you loved the concert!! These girls have some serious talent.
