Magic Never Ends Podcast favorites, Aly and AJ will release a deluxe edition ‘Insomniatic’ on November 6. ‘Insomniatic’ debuted to strong reviews and the first single, “Potential Breakup Song” quickly became a fan favorite.
The new addition has a CD containing the 15 tracks with hit ‘Potential Breakup Song’, a bonus DVD with the duo’s My Super Sweet 16 & 18 Birthday Party Review, My Super Sweet 16 & 18 Birthday Party, Sisterhood TV Show, and also MTV Cribs. So it’s going to be a great buy for fans.
‘Insomniatic’ was released on July 10, 2007 in USA and debuted at No. 15 in the USA Billboard Top 200 album chart. The album sold around 39,000 copies in its first week, and became Aly & AJ’s highest debut till date. Currently, it has sold 180,000 copies.
The two sisters Alyson, 18, and Amanda, 16, have also starred in TV movie ‘Super Sweet 16: The Movie’ as Taylor Tiara and Sara Conners respectively. On July 8, the film was premiered on MTV.
And of course, I will purchase this deluxe edition once it’s released! Especially since they’re offering new content. I greatly dislike it when products are released with very little new content and a “new edition” is slapped on the title. People will purchase multiple copies of the favorite movies or music, if you reward them. Then again, I’d probably purchase a DVD of Aly and AJ taking out the trash.
Nevertheless, if you waited to purchase ‘Insomniatic’, this deluxe edition is a good time to purchase the album!
