Back in May, the three Embracers of the Disney Magic, travelled cross-country from Maryland to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA.  On the way home, however, they decided to take a slight detour to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL.  This vacation marked the first time Will and Shannon took the then 2-month old, Princess Peanut on a plane and to a Disney park. Hear their experience with: Getting through security check point & what to do with the car seat, infant carrier, base and stroller. Communicating with your significant other. How to  keep your baby happy during take off and landing. Tips for keeping you and your baby cool in the heat. Baby Care Centers at both the DLR and WDW. Fresh off the LIVE in-park Episode 37, here is more in-park shenanigans! A first for MNE, as we go coast-to-coast to ride an attraction.  That attraction is Splash Mountain. First in Disneyland – as part of DPN’s Westfest 2008 – we ride with wdwfanjon (Jon from Minnesota), HeavenIsDisneyland (Liana), TheBigD (Chreestopher), AussieJohn…also you’ll hear Josh, FromPA (his poor cellphone!) TVKirby, and BMSLou. (Make sure you listen to The Single Rider Podcast Episode 4 to hear us talk more about the SPLASH down event with Chris.) Finally at WDW – as part of The Attack of the Tweens (June 2008) trip – we ride along with the Dysfunctional SuperFamily and the ConnieJenKyra Family.  As with any interaction with the DSF, the censors are on standby! The audio is a bit rough on the WDW piece because Will is still learning the ins and outs of the H2.  The fun we all had on the WDW Splash Mountain makes up for any knocks in sound quality. Even though Will and Shannon had harsh words for Splash Mountain, they did enjoy it as it was a GREAT time with friends!!!  Thanks to those that rode with us.  Classic moments we’ll ALWAYS cherish.  (Even if The Big D and The Aussie LIED to us!) It was a great time hanging with new friends waiting for Rope Drop. Then we rush off to Matterhorn to ride both sides. Our first Disneyland ride!!
