Selena Gomez Music Details Revealed!
Selena Gomez is a successful TV actress, budding fashionista and now is ready to take on the music scene! Unlike her other Disney pop star friends though, she has decided to make it a group effort by forming a band.
Selena Gomez and the Scene is the name of the Wizards of Waverly Place star’s musical group.
Selena Gomez has been excitedly revealing details about her music, including lots of awesome pictures through her Twitter.
She revealed the cover art for her debut album, Kiss & Tell (see below).
Gomez tweeted: “Here it is!!! I can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”
“It’s fun pop, and it has a dance beat to it. I’ve been working on it for two years, so let’s hope that it’s good.”
Kiss & Tell will be available in stores and iTunes September 29th. A date Selena is VERY excited for: “September 29th cannot come soon enough!!!!!”

The music video “Falling Down” will air after the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie, which airs on the Disney Channel Friday, August 28, 2009 at 8 pm EST. Selena thinks that the debut of her music video “is all so crazy!!!”
Gomez even hinted at future concert dates!!!
“I cannot wait for you guys to come out and see a show, coming soon!!!!”
I cannot wait either!!! I’ll be sure to purchase tickets as soon as they become available!
After “Falling Down” premiered on the radio, she quickly updated her fans on Twitter. Fellow Disney star and BFF, Demi Lovato congratulated and supported Selena. Here’s their Twitter exchange:
Selena: Yes, I just sat in my car alone crying because I heard my song on the radio for the first time ever!!! I hope you guys liked it!!

I’m excited about hearing the songs from “Kiss & Tell.” I already love “Falling Down” so I am sure Selena’s other songs will sound great!!
“Falling Down” is playable on Selena’s MySpace page now and will be available on iTunes August 25!

Disney’s Meaghan Martin to perform at Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Readington
Camp Rock star Meaghan Martin will perform live in concert and then meet her fans during the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 25. Martin currently stars in the new ABC Family television series “10 Things I Hate About You.”
Previous performers of the festival included, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.
Reserved tickets for Martin, which include reserved concert seats, festival admission, and priority for the meet-and-greet following the concert, are $25 for children and $35 for adults. Advance tickets are suggested as the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato concerts were complete sell outs.
Martin sang the Disney classic “When You Wish Upon A Star” on the Pinocchio 70th anniversary edition DVD/Blu-Ray. She also performs a song on the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie soundtrack.
